We are delighted to confirm the reappointment of Bec Dewhirst as C Grade Netball Coach for the 2026 season.
A foundation member of the club, Bec has been an integral part of the Giants since their inception, leading her side to finals appearances in each of the club’s opening seasons and coming within reach of victory in the 2025 Grand Final.
Widely regarded as a stalwart of netball within the MCDFNL and wider community, Bec is known for her ability to inspire, unite, and elevate those around her. Her leadership, passion, and dedication continue to foster excellence both on and off the court and have left a lasting mark on the club.
Her years of outstanding contribution was formally recognized in 2025, when she was awarded both the Giants C Grade Club Best & Fairest and the MCDFNL C Grade Best & Fairest.
Looking ahead to 2026, Bec is eager to build on past success and continue driving the Giants’ senior netball program forward.
The club is proud to have her remain a key pillar of its netball structure and netball program.
